September

8th              District 5 Orchestra Parent Night 6:30pm in BHS Orchestra Room

9-10       Cello Choir at Furman University

9       Philharmonic to perform at the 9/11 Memorial Assembly in front of the FAC

      at 9:00 am.

15       Chick-Fil-A Back to School District 5 Orchestra Spirit Night. Come and eat

      from 5:00 - 8:00pm and make sure you say you are there for the orchestra     

      inside or at the drive-thru.

20       Lessons begin at Byrnes High School

October

1       Region Orchestra Auditions @ Dorman High School

14       Nation Ford  Orchestra Football Night Come and Tailgate at BHS at 5:00pm.

      T-shirts and magnets will be available for purchase. Free Food, Orchestra    

      will be featured with the national anthem.

15       Region Pre-Registration Postmark Deadline

18         BFA/BHS Orchestra Concert 7:00pm in Fine Arts Center

27       D.R. Hill and FCMS Spooktacular Concert 6:30pm in Fine Arts Center

November

4-5       Region Orchestra Weekend @ Chesnee High School 4

17         District 5 Orchestra Pizza Inn Night Come and eat from 5:00 pm - 8:00pm

29       Berry Shoals Orchestra Concert 6:00pm in Fine Arts Center

14       All-State Inclement Weather Auditions

TBA       SC ASTA Violin/Viola Choir - usually held at the beginning of the year

2-4       SCMEA Professional Conference in Columbia

21       D5 Orchestras Pre-Festival Clinics - All orchestras will participate in a clinic

      with a musician in order to help prepare for Concert Festival

23       Philharmonic and Chorus Concert in FAC at 7:00pm

24-26          All-State Orchestra Weekend @ Irmo H.S. and Lexington H.S.

March

21-24       Concert Festival - This will be during the school day @ Chapman High

                 School

22-26       Orchestra Trip to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
